We are to a wonderful start this year! Thank you to all who came to parent night. If you were unable to attend and have questions about anything please write a note in the student planner or email me at [email protected].
We spent our first week getting to know each other. Students enjoyed many activities getting to know one another. We read some fun books, "Howard B. Wigglebottom and Listen Buddy." We ended the week by burying the "I Can'ts". We discussed how when we use words like I can't then we give up too easily. We all agreed that we would always try our best. Please remember to sign student planner nightly. Students should be coloring their ticket color daily. You should have received the behavior letter explaining the policy of each ticket color. If you did not receive one please let me know. Please make note of the new visitor parking. Visitors are to now park in the places numbered 1-15. Aimsweb testing began this week. Students are being tested on reading fluency, spelling and writing. When testing is complete you will receive the results. If you have any questions about results or want to meet just let me know. I am looking forward to a great year! Ms. Corriher
